How research keeps an eye on safety.
The people behind Doseira
Doseira started when an editor tried to explain to a neighbor who “checks on” a study while it is running. The answer turned out to be several groups, and a good short explainer.
The notes are written in everyday language. They describe how safety oversight is generally set up, not how any one study handles it.
Where we draw the line
We do not give medical advice, recruit or enroll anyone in a study, match you with studies or sites, or share your details with anyone who might want to sell you something.
Doseira is published by The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an educational website only. We are not a medical provider, a pharmacy, a research sponsor or a recruiter, and nothing here is medical advice.
How we keep things accurate
We build each guide from general guidance, such as guidance from the NIH, the FDA and the public ClinicalTrials.gov registry, and the Doseira editors at The Nelson M Group LLC review it. The review month is printed on the guide, and we go back over all of them at least once a year.
Spotted something wrong? Write to [email protected] with “Correction” in the subject line and we will look at it. If something here differs from your own official documents, those documents win.
