Who runs Doseira, and is it a medical provider, study team or recruiter?
No. Doseira is an information website published by The Nelson M Group LLC. We do not treat patients or enroll volunteers, and the guides are not medical, legal or financial advice.
Which fields are required?
No. Your email address, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional. A first name, a last name, your topic and the privacy agreement are all we need.
Do I need to opt in to text messages?
No. You are only texted if you tick a box yourself, and there is one unchecked box to choose from. Leaving it blank is fine.
Can you tell me which study is right for me?
No. We do not recommend studies. A conversation with your own doctor is the right place for that, and our guides help you prepare questions.
Can I ask about my own health here?
Not here. We cannot give medical advice. Your doctor can, and in an emergency you should call 911.
Should I report a side effect to you?
No. We cannot receive medical reports. Contact your doctor, and in an emergency call 911.
How do I stop emails or delete my information?
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To delete what we hold, write to [email protected].
What do I get when I sign up?
A first guide on your chosen topic by email (only if you give one), and, if you ask for them, short texts that link back to the same guides.
Can Doseira tell me if a medicine is safe?
No. We do not give medical advice or assess any product. Your doctor or pharmacist can answer questions about a medicine.
Will you text me all the time?
It varies, but never more than about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.
Do you share my details with sponsors or research sites?
No. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with study sponsors, research sites, recruiters, lead buyers or other partners. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it is used.
Do you sign people up for research?
No. We do not enroll anyone. If a study interests you, its own team handles every step.
Can I cancel the text messages?
Just reply STOP. HELP brings up help information, and [email protected] works too.
